Let’s be real—writing books is weird.
Sometimes, it’s magical. Sometimes, it’s chaos. Sometimes, it’s just me, coffee, and a stubborn computer that refuses to save my document until I beg nicely (or threaten it with a dramatic sigh). Whether you’ve been here since the first dragon took flight or you just stumbled into my little corner of the internet, you’ve probably wondered:
What actually goes on in an author’s head?
Now’s your chance to find out.
That’s right, I’m throwing open the virtual doors and inviting you to ask anything—the behind-the-scenes stuff, the deep questions, the ridiculous curiosities you were too shy to post at 2am. Whether you’re dying to know what inspired Legend of the White Dragon, how many horses it takes to heal a broken heart, or how many times I’ve rewritten the same sentence (spoiler: it’s a lot)—hit me with your best shot.
Here are some ideas to get you started:
- How do I dream up dragons, kingdoms, and all those dramatic twists?
- What’s the wildest thing that’s ever inspired a story?
- Which character is secretly my favorite?
- What’s it really like writing with a disability—or typing entire chapters with a stylus clenched between my teeth because, you know, life?
- Have I ever based a villain on someone I know? (Wouldn’t you like to know…)
Or maybe you want to get a little weirder:
- Which fantasy creature would I adopt as a pet?
- If my book had a theme song, what would it be?
- Coffee, tea, or something even more questionable?
- If I could have dinner with any of my characters, who would I not invite (and why)?
Here’s how it works:
- Drop your questions in the comments (go wild, I promise I don’t bite).
- Or, if you want to be mysterious, email me or use my contact form—anonymous curiosity totally welcome!
- No question is too strange. Seriously. I’ve already heard it all, and I survived.
I’ll be rounding up the best, funniest, and most thought-provoking questions and answering them in an upcoming blog post. If you make me laugh, think, or spill my coffee, you might even win a little bookish swag or an exclusive sneak peek at my next project (because bribery is a time-honored tradition).
So, what are you waiting for?
Unleash your inner nosy neighbor.
Ask me the question you’ve always wanted to ask an author but were afraid might land you in a fantasy novel as comic relief.
I dare you.
Go on. Make me spill some secrets.
P.S. If you want to stay anonymous, just say so—your secret’s safe with me and my dragons.
P.P.S. No dragons (or authors) were harmed in the making of this blog post.
